Haslemere's Bunny Trail
Fifty local businesses are joining together to promote the Haslemere Bunny Trail. From Brook to Beacon Hill the bunnies will live in the shops and busniesses until Easter when they will find new homes with the winners of the trail. Click here to see how the bunnies found their temporary homes!
Collect your trail form from the Haslemere Educational Museum or one of the participating businesses, then set to discover what the bunnies are eating, wearing, sitting on or with. The fifty bunnies will then be awarded to those with the best answers, and three of the bunnies will have a real pearl on their necklace! There is also a large fluffy bunny looking for a good home, so do join in the fun, but please take great care of your surroundings as you go!
Haslemere churches will be celebrating Easter with a variety of services for all. See the Town Diary for more details.
Spend and Win!
For the second half of April the same 50 businesses will be offering you a chance to win a fantastic array of prizes. Each of the businesses has donated a prize, they will be gathered together to form one enormous gift for one very lucky person! All you have to do is visit the participating shops, spend some money, fill in a card and keep your fingers crossed! Prizes include an MOT and service, a giant rugby ball, a child's haircut and products, six lager glasses, a meal for two and 45 other items! The more often you spend, the more your chances of winning!
St George's Day
Haslemere's tradition of celebrating St. George's Day in style continues again this year. The Royal Society of St George will join St. George, the Maiden and the Dragon in the town and hand out red roses to the public. There will also be a window dressing competition with St George as the theme, so don't forget to enjoy the shop windows.
On Sunday 23rd a wreath will be laid on the Haslemere cenotaph to commemorate St George's Day.
